1. Accommodation & Transportation:
You will be welcomed with a flower garland greeting at the airport and transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. The deluxe room will be provided at the Luxury Hotel based on a bed and breakfast in Thamel for one night before the trek in Kathmandu.
There will be comfortable, neat, and clean hotel rooms according to availability on the trek. Sometimes it will be with an attached bathroom with a hot shower and sometimes it will not be attached on the trekking tour.
2 two-night deluxe Rooms in Pokhara will be provided based on a bed and breakfast at the comfortable hotel.
A car will be provided to pick up and drop off in Kathmandu and a 4x4-wheel Jeep to pick up and drop off at the trek in Pokhara. A luxurious tourist bus ticket will be provided from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
2. Difficulty:
Trekking via Poonhill is considered moderate to adventurous off-the-beaten-path trekking. This trek is not difficult and exhausting, it is always full of paradise and panoramic. Of course, the trail in the Himalayas is a long way up and a long way down, several staircases, but full of natural and cultural attractions. You will have plenty of good places for short breaks whenever you get tired or want to take nice pictures. Everyone can make this trek by following the method of “go slower, drink enough water, never be in a hurry, get higher, and sleep at lower”
3. Permits & Regulations:
You need to have two different kinds of permits for this trek, such as the Annapurna Conservation permit and the TIMS permit.
4. Personal equipment list:
Good walking boots, a pair of slippers to wear in the camp in the evening or when the boots are wet, a Warm jacket (Fiber fill or down should be adequate). A Rainproof jacket with a hood or poncho, Woolen shirts and thick sweaters or fleece jackets, Thin and thick trousers, and Trousers for higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary during treks going above 3000 m. Thermal underwear (These are excellent for sleeping at night), 2 pairs of loose-fitting long shorts/ skirts. 1 lightweight long-sleeved shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sunburn. A woolen or warm hat to wear in the morning and at night. Sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck, a pair of gloves and good sun/snow glasses (warm and normal ones), 2 pairs of thin and 2 pairs of thick warm socks, Underwear, a buff, and hankies as you need. Necessary personal items if you are a woman.
5. Accessories:
Duffle bag or kit bag or a big rucksack to carry gear while trekking (if you do not have it, we will provide it to you).
6, Drinking Water: Travelers should be very aware of drinking water in Nepal. They are not completely adapted to digest direct normal spring water due to the bacteria. So, we recommend you drink mineral water or boiled water. Also, you can use some tablets, such as chlorine tablets, for purifying water on the trek. We strongly recommend drinking mineral water in the city area and purified or boiled water on the trek.
7. Meals:
We will provide 3-time meals a day on the trek (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as hot drinks like tea, coffee, and boiled water for drinking….. Etc. We won’t provide lunch and dinner during your stay in the City, like in KTM and Pokhara
