You will be received at the Tribhuwan International Airport and dropped off at the Comfort Hotel in Kathmandu. The next day, we will fly to the beautiful city of Pokhara. The amazing and exciting Jeep drive to Ghandruk village will start on the third day. The elite hiking and trekking will respectively begin from Ghandruk, Landruk, Pitam Deurali, and Australian Camp to Sarangkot. During this sophisticated and fine-blended trek, you will cross various ethnic groups with incredible cultures and traditions, encounter mysterious uphill, downhill sections, and experience panoramic terrains. Each day, it requires about 5-6 hours of walking with frequent breaks at breathtaking scenic points. This is an absolute comfort trekking experience filled with nature, culture, and adventure. Within this trek, you will have a full chance of seeing the three highest mountains in the world. Mt. Dhalagiri 8,167 Meters, Mt. Annapurna 8,091 Meters, Mt. Manaslu 8,161 Meters, and so many other neighboring mountains such as the massive Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Gangapurna, Gurja Himal, Gandharva Chuli, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Lamjung Himal, etc.

australiancamp

The exploration from Australian Camp to Sarangkot will be more exciting, peaceful, and legendary. Sunrise at Sarangkot, 360 degrees of mountain views, Phewa Lake view at Pokhara, and never-ending attractive views of several layered meadows. Enjoying two days in the Queen City of Asia, visiting historical and amazing sites will make the holidays beneficial. Flying to Kathmandu and sightseeing at the UNESCO World Heritage sites is the key attraction of this trip.

The Annapurna region can be hiked throughout the year. However, it is undesirable from June to mid-September due to heavy monsoon rainfall. During this season, trails can be slippery, roads and trekking trails can be blocked by landslides and floods. The views may be disturbed by thick clouds.

We recommend that from the end of September to the end of May is perfect for luxurious hiking and trekking in the Annapurna. Beyond the trekking, this will be the best trip planning for occasional ceremonies such as Christmas and New Year's, or for family holidays, or a honeymoon trip. Of course, it is the best option for senior citizens and children in the Himalayas for a mini adventure in a safe, secure, beautiful, and interesting trip package.

Itinerary

We greet you with a flower garland and drive to the hotel in Thamel. And evening trip briefing at the hotel.

phewa

After breakfast, we drive to the domestic airport for a flight to Pokhara. It takes 25 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We will be picked up by a private vehicle at Pokhara International Airport and dropped off at our Hotel. Check into the comfortable Hotel and spend a couple of hours exploring around the best and most beautiful Pokhara City. It has very nice places to see and visit. Make a romantic evening exploration along the Phewa Lake, there are plenty of good restaurants, and you can enjoy your meal anywhere you want.

ghandruk

After your breakfast at the hotel, prepare your baggage. We advise you to leave unnecessary items at the same hotel. Drive a private luxurious Jeep with your team and trek staff directly towards the famous Gurung village of Ghandruk. You will drive along the legendary and scenic highway till Nayapul. Of course, the driver will stop at scenic locations for great photos. It is beautiful with the best natural scenery all around. The singing Modi Rivers, sky-touching mountains, terraced rice fields, decorative scattered villages, seasonal flowers and vegetation, animals, streams, and waterfalls views in the countryside are very joyful and panoramic. You will arrive at Ghandruk village after 2.5 hours of driving, and check into the Local Hotel.

Take a moment for refreshment, then you can start exploring around the Ghadruk Village. It has a very unique ethnic culture, traditions, and lifestyle. It is also known as the village of Gorkhas, where the traditional Gurung Museum, lifestyle, typical houses, and customs are beyond your expectations. Mt. Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gandarbha Chuli, and the Holy Mt. Fishtail are always smiling in front of the village.

The breakfast in the garden or on the rooftop with beautiful mountain views. Separate some special things for yourself; they are necessary and important for you. Pack them in your personal day pack and carry by yourself; the rest of your belongings should be packed in big baggage for the porters.

himalpani

We do not recommend direct descent from Ghandruk to the Madi River (near wild bees’ cliff) because it is steep downhill with more than 3,300 stairs and steep uphill climbing from the River; however, it is faster than the other side. Steep downhill and uphill may cause problems with your knees and feet. Follow the route towards Jhinu Hot Spring from Ghandruk, which is easier and more comfortable. Of course, you must walk along the rough road for some hours. There are seldom vehicles driving along that road. Turn down to the Nayapul route from the longest suspension bridge, cross another amazing suspension bridge over the Madi River, and follow a peaceful trekking trail along the Riverbank. There is a very beautiful, small, quiet, and unique tea shop in the Himalayas with attractive waterfalls and jungle views. It is possible to make a normal local lunch and tea break. The trail follows the easy riverbank and climbs gradually up to the terraced field, which is easy to ascend until you arrive at the ancient, primitive village called Landruk. Overnight at a nice and comfortable hotel

australiancamp

Landruk is one of the most adorable villages to visit. It has a unique culture and traditions, and there are very antique designated houses. Terraced farming field with several types of crops: millet, corn, wheat, barley, rice, and different kinds of vegetables. The heritage-style Hotels and lodges at Landruk are peaceful, joyful, with delicious organic food, clean and comfortable rooms with attached bathrooms.

The trek leads along the roadside, which often joins the rough road. Very few vehicles are driving along this road because it is not a frequently used site. We often walk along the alternative old trekking trail by watching beautiful landscapes, Rivers, waterfalls, jungle, and villages. After some hours of trek, we start climbing uphill through the massive forest till the Deurali. We take a noon break at this viewpoint, Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges, the view is amazing from Deurali.

It might take 1.5 hours of downhill walking through the peaceful forest to the Australian camp. Overnight at a comfortable hotel

sarangkot

Go to the viewpoint for the best views of the Himalayas. Camping tents are often set up on the viewpoint for those who are interested in spending the night in the tents or making a campfire. We can have very impressive views of Mt. Annapurna. Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu from the viewpoint. The Seti River gorge, with its bedding valley extending from the bottom of the Himalayas to Pokhara, and the surrounding landscape, featuring mysterious meadows, widely scattered countryside villages, terraced fields, and a sub-alpine forest view, is awesome. There is a quite enjoyable, gradual staircase trail from the Australian camp to the main Highway at Kande. You should walk a couple of minutes along the road around Kande and follow the ancient legendary trail till Naudanda. Leave the road from both sides and follow the middle ridge trekking trail from Naudanda. This trail passes through the beautiful forest, offering amazing views of the mountains, landscape, and thrilling valleys. The trail goes through the middle of the forest along the stone slabs, staircases, and the ancient palace castle (KASKI KOT). The Hindus sacrifice a large number of chickens and goats in this KOT. The walking trail from Naudanda to Sarangkot is one of the most romantic and amazing. We recommend walking through the forest or ridge-side jungle path that goes through dense forest of rhododendrons, bamboo, and other Himalayan alpine plants. This is an amazing and enjoyable meditative trail for comfortable hiking. This was the ancient legendary path, but it was abandoned after the road facility was approached. A few years back, the local Government of this region had developed it again for a comfortable trek along the thrilling historical ridges. The trail offers unique scenes of the Himalayas and harmonious landscapes, flora, and fauna. You never meet vehicles except hearing them far away from your path. In some parts, you come to observe ancient temples and shrines. We advise carrying enough drinking water and energy bars for the day, as there are no shops until you reach Sarangkot.

pokhara

Visit the viewing tower very early in the morning for the Sunrise. The view from the tower spans 360 degrees from Mt. Dhaulagiri - Mt. Annapurna to Mt. Manaslu and a complete valley of Pokhara. The massive high mountains are lining the Northern side, the massive landscape with tremendous meadow contours, hillocks, and the Seti River gorge is bedding the Himalayas to the valley at Phewa Lake. Return to the hotel for breakfast and drive to Pokhara. Check into the Hotel and take some free time

There are so many nice options in Pokhara, whether you want to explore around the Phewa Lake and hang out in the bars or at the nice restaurants, take a spa or Massage, or souvenir shopping, or explore the following sites:

stupa

WORLD PEACE PAGODA STUPA: The World Peace Pagoda can be seen on top of a hill on the southern fringe of Phewa Lake. It has four images of the Buddha facing the four directions. The dome-shaped pagoda is an impressive sight, and its hilltop location commands a great view. It is a great vantage point that offers spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. Near the Peace Pagoda are Pumdi and Bumdi, two villages above Phewa Lake's southern rim for exceptional views of the mountains. They have the old style oval-shaped, red clay houses.

musium

INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN MUSEUM (IMM): The museum, situated 1.5 km south of Pokhara Airport at Rato Pairo, has on display historical documents, records, and chronicles on mountaineering. It has three main exhibition halls: Hall of the Great Himalaya, Hall of Fame, and the Hall of World Mountains. There is also a library, a prayer room, and an audio-visual room. The museum, managed by the Nepal Mountaineering Association, was established with the theme “Man, Mountain and Mountain activities around the world”.

BOATING:  Pokhara’s Phewa Lake naturally draws visitors towards it. Easily the best means of recreation, boating is a favorite pastime that one can enjoy at any time of day. The other two lakes, Begnas and Rupa, are located 15 km out of Pokhara. Less visited but no less beautiful, both these lakes are excellent for boating and fishing.

DAVI'S FALL AND GUPTESWOR CAVE: Locally known as the Patale Chhango (fall of the Netherworld), Davi’s fall is a ferocious waterfall located about 2 km southwest of Lakeside on the Siddhartha Highway. The source of the waterfall is Phewa Lake, and the fall itself is named after a Swiss lady who was swept away by the fall in 1961. The fall cuts through the rocks to create complex caves and tunnels on its path.

Gupteshwar Mahadev cave is on the other side of the fall. It is under the land like a tunnel, but it is a natural cave with limestone. In the middle of the cave, there is a sacred shrine dedicated to Shiva. The tunnel is a bit narrow, slippery, and dark from the temple to the waterfalls of Davi’s fall. However, there is an electric light and well-built steps for safety. It is not allowed to go further than the temple during the Monsoon season.

Drive to the international airport at Pokhara and check in for the flight. It takes a 25-minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel and free time in Kathmandu, and farewell dinner in the evening

We visit the UNESCO's world heritage sites such as Soyambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple and Boudhhanath Stupa.
