Kathmandu Durbar Square (palace) is the oldest among the 3 Durbars squire within the valley and is known as the city of temples. During this fantastic sightseeing tour, we will see a lot of ancient, artfuls, cultural, elegant and traditional, and archaeologically signified temples. Kathmandu Durbar Square used to call Hanuman Dhoka Complex, which was the Royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of Nepalese monarchs took a place. The two-hectare palace complex is divided into two main courtyards. This palace was initially constructed in the 9th century, and 16th century; similarly additional was built during the regime of the Shah Dynasty in the 18th century and by the Rana rulers in the 19th century. The palace and the temples are decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows, struts, and panels. It is also possible to visit the State Rooms inside the palace, where we can see how the regime ruled over. The Durbar has been badly damaged by the 2015 earthquake, at the moment renovation work is taking time so you are not allowed to visit every corner of this ancient palace.

Hanumandhoka Palace, state Museum, and Ghatthi Baithak Bhawan, Kasthmandav temple (built in the 12th century and that has given the name of Kathmandu, those are badly destroyed by earthquake in 2015 and under restoration plan)
Kumari temple: The temple was built in 17th century. The most curious attraction is a young girl (pre menstruation) chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the living goddess of the Hindu. She is being worshiped as a mother goddess Durga.
Moju Dega temple and Trailokya Narayan temple (destroyed by earthquake in 2015 also under restoration plan)
Pratap stone monolith pillar, pratap script, the black Bhairav sculpture, Jagannath temple, the big bell, Taleju Bhavani temple, Hanuman statue, Golden gate and so on……
