Tarebhir hiking is another off-the-beaten hiking path in Kathmandu. Many people don’t know yet there is such a nice hike that provides prime experiences. It is also very easy to get from Kathmandu. Tarebhir hiking is a daylong hike that starts from the Kapan monastery. It passes through a deep pine forest up to Tarebhir's top. The trail goes along wilderness ridges so that the massive Kathmandu Valley view is visible. Sometimes mountain bikers and mountain runners are passing through this way. It is away from the regular road so the vehicle won’t bother you. Some fast-food restaurants at the top of Tharebhir have good tastes in local foods. The hiking trail descends by another side of the road through dense forest. There are so many kinds of birds and wild animals nestling in this forest including wild boar and leopards. Of course, descending is easier but slides on sandy sides. This hike will provide nature madness in primitive legacy and ends at the Bhadrakali temple of Chunikhel.
