Langtang was a destroyed village by an earthquake in 2015 on our way to Kyanjin Gompa, the last settlement in Langtang Valley. The trek begins from the old, independent kingdom of Gorkha to the Budi Gandaki valley.

Nar-Phu Valley is above the tree line on the upper limits of cultivation, in the very north of the Manang district.
