Mohare Danda Annapurna Paradise Trek:
Mohare Danda is a newly opened, unbeaten eco trekking destination for trekkers and hikers in the laps of the Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. This is a unique, classic, lovers, and economical trek designed for families and short-time trekkers. In this trek, you can enjoy the unspoiled environments and experience the way of life, culture, and tradition in the primitive villages. The view from the Mohare Danda trek is an astonishing reward. The trek goes through the famous Gurung ethnic community to the Poon Magar community and ends at mixed ethnical communities or society. The treks in this area often lead along the very ridge path through the beautiful rhododendron, pine, bamboo, hemlock, fir, and several other alpine vegetation. It is mostly an easy down off- the- beaten trek, we pass several ancient local pastures, several Deurali places on the hilltop, and ancient Chautaras. You will be adored and influenced by the pristine rural beauties of splendid nature and the Himalayan views. Touren Nepal Treks has innovated a new and peaceful walking trail along the ridge by avoiding the village trail. Walking through the village was quite interesting in former times, but the road access made it terrible. Most of the walking trail in villages is destroyed by the road, and vehicles often drive along these sites, which are dusty and not enjoyable.
Mohare Danda trek is suitable for children, adults, the retired, Yoga and retreatment, refreshment treks, and students for research. It is short and close to the city; however, we do not recommend individual trekking. Because the trek often goes through the dense forest, one can get lost easily in the forest.
Best time to trek into the Mohare Danda
The Annapurna foothills route can be trekked year-round, but the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to January) seasons offer the best conditions:
Autumn (September - November): Widely considered the best time. The weather is generally stable, with clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and excellent mountain views. Trails are not dusty, and the nights are clear for stargazing.
Spring (March - May): Another excellent period. You'll witness blooming rhododendrons completely around the widely spread forests and other wildflowers, with pleasant temperatures and good visibility.
Winter (December - February): It is possible to trek around this area. There will be clear skies, good visibility, and fewer trekkers. Warm gear is necessary for the Morning and for the night.
Monsoon (June-August): We do not recommend this trek due to heavy rainfall, muddy and slippery trails, leeches in the grasses, river streams will be flooded, limited visibility, and the risk of landslides. Also can be blocked the road by a landslide.
